Nike Zoom Rival S 9 Running Spikes
Designed with the sprinter in mind, the Nike Zoom Rival S 9 Unisex Track Spike is ideal for short distances, hurdles and jumping events. A soft, foot-conforming sockliner provides incredible comfort, while a rigid plate extends under the arch and includes strategic spike receptacles for maximum power, speed and traction.
Synthetic and textile uppers will encase each foot in streamlined comfort. An internal arch band wraps the midfoot in a firm fit, reducing in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides. The three-quarter length bootie reduces layers and weight, while synthetic overlays swathe the midfoot and heel in lightweight support – helping to anchor you to the midsole and withstand scuffs and drag. A foam collar supplies soft support, cradling the ankle and Achilles to relieve pressure and prevent strain.
Anatomical Midsole / 7 Spike Outsole
A moulded EVA sockliner resides underfoot, supplying step-in anatomical comfort. Light in weight and low in profile, it helps to spare your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. The spike plate covers the forefoot and extends back under the arch to increase the shoe’s torsional rigidity and durability, its reconditioned design allowing for optimal traction and transition. Seven removable spikes adorn the plate, providing biting grip across every track. Solid rubber envelops the heel in an updated horizontal traction pattern for enhanced friction and permanence, resisting the traumas of heel-strike to deliver you with a reliable and long-lasting race buddy. For the athletes who crave lightweight lockdown and dynamic performance, choose the Zoom Rival S 9.
